Interesting stats there, from AAA we can expect less PC, more Mobile, less new IP and the continuation of boring and or dead/finished franchise sequels. At least there are still 10 or so new IP releases a year and indy is propping up PC as a platform with games like Factorio, Rimworld, Hades, Prodeus etc.

Indie is taking over more like, in fact, I play more of them games than any AAA title now, which is not hard, as AAA don't exist today.

Why would the industry want to change for the better when they see numbers like that?

i'd really love to see the mobile games category and not just be reminded of predatory garbage games Laughing doesn't seem to be dying out soon
i thought PC gaming actually had a larger share this year but i guess not?
