When you download a whole season or two in one torrent and select the first couple of episodes as "high priority", why are they always downloaded last and stuck at 99%?

i don't say you have to, but you asked so. Very Happy there are other options which are just fine and fast, without having the need to upload anything etc.

Yesterday downloaded RE3 via torrentz. It took about 3-4 hours with 1.5MB/s download speed. Not great, not terrible. Very Happy

Good ol rapidshare.

Dead I'm afraid. Actual equivalent would be Uploaded, and they suck speed-wise (for free users). Preferred filehost for bounty hunters. The king is still Kim Dotcom spiritual successor, Mega. Rocking at full bandwidth! Btw, talking about rocking Rockfile isn't that bad, around 450KB/sec for free users. Mediafire... meh, good speed but not so much piracy there (appears that they have a spot-on piracy detection algorithm). ZippyShare? Banned in EU. Rest is shit.

HaViNg SaId ThAt... nothing downloads like a torrent. Preferred method of piracy™ since 2003 Cool

Last year, ZS was blocked in DE and UK, not sure if its still banned or if they added more countries.
Mega is great but the download limit is so annoying, you get 6-8gb or so, then you need to reconnect for new IP. Is there any other way around it?

Also nobody mentioned Usenet yet, find a good nzb indexer or board and with trial account from hitnews.com you're ready to go.

I use all - IRC xdcc, Webhoster (ZS, Mega, Google Drive) and Usenet and sometimes Torrents (e.g. Fitgirl), but no private trackers

My bad, it is banned in UK, DE and ES. Can be circumvented with any free VPN link generator.

@Nalo
Usenet is free? Everywhere I see ppl paying for access. Interested if available free.

It's not free technically, but you can spam free trials at hitnews.
Xsusenet has a truly free but rather restricted account. (~4mbit 25gb/month)
Watch out for Eweka deals, they often have deals where you can get their best plan for less than 4€/month.

Thanks, but I always slide to torrent. Finding everything I need/want there between a mixture of free and private trackers.

Lol @ people mocking torrents or any other means of getting free stuff Rolling Eyes
Never understood people’s need to feel superior through posting retarded bullshit on the internets. Torrents provide all content, seconds after the content becomes available, and maxes my 30-50MB download line. And I don’t need to troll in fucking IRC channels or shit forums like WBB just to find a working link. Or troll the usnets to find non-erased binary shit with DMCA. Even Piratebay is better than that shift, let alone quality private trackers.

well, i do have 500mbit, but it still takes a little while so i would of course like to finish off one episode and watch it while the rest downloads. I usually select "do not download" for the rest and set it back to normal when the first is done, but with a priority system that should be totally unnecessary.

Download sequentially is just that. Priority gets ignored when there is more availability on other files.

Same here, public torrents are still my way to go, especially for TV/Movies. Thankfully Italy doesn't care about that (..yet) and they're fast enough for my puny 1080p needs since with a nonexistent upload speed of 0.3Mbps anything else is a nope. For games I usually look for the trusty MegaUP, Mega or Google Drive links which are practically free real estate. Nothing has really changed for me in the past 15 years Razz

Norway is now the only country in Scandinavia you wont be a target for downloading torrents.
And iv always hated people claiming newsgroups are so much better... and in these days, they definitely aren't. Nobody beats TLs pre time Smile

Of course there is a bit of trouble with the public trackers when something is very popular, mostly games; that we all know can be 60-100 gb these days.

Depends who you go with. If people go with the scumbags Telia and the likes... well that's on them.
Though I do find it sounds a bit much like: everyone gets targeted in Scandinavia (except Norway) for downloading torrents, which is not the case.

I've never ever been worried about getting caught & fined no matter what ISP I have. The only ones that have anything to fear are the people selling and distributing tons of movies, games and music. There's no point in tracking down every single person that download torrents or direct DL etc. since each single case would take effort, cost them a lot of fees and manpower while rarely nailing anyone for downloading a movie; IF they manage to nail someone, all they will gain is a person getting a fine.

However, I'm with Bahnhof and have been for... I don't know, a decade? I feel perfectly safe in their hands.

Same, I'd advice anyone to go with them instead.

While I have no examples of Telia going after individuals. There are enough of them giving out data to law enforcement/USA without a fight or thought. They are too eager handing over data. +they suck balls and are overpriced. Razz
