YES! Finally, a promising dedicated game to Sun Wukong! I absolutely love the character and legend behind him. I did read part of Journey to the West, but I don't have much patience for books so I never ended up finishing it, which I regret. This looks awesome, hope it gets finished!

The sound at 7:03 is straight up from Sekiro, game reminds me of it visually too, but somehow with even higher production quality. Aaaaah, I'm hyped I think! SORRY!

Imagine if Sony or Microsoft had presented their new consoles with something like this. That would have actually made it feel like the next gen! This is far above everything they have shown so far. But at the same time, I think that it is way too ambitious to be realized as seen in the trailer...
I wouldn't call it bullshit because they made it clear that it is a demo to attract investors or more staff/collaborators. Something like Sony did with the presentation of Killzone 2 or EA with Anthem (which didn't make that little clarification). I guess after this, we won't have news about this game again for a long time (maybe a few years).

I'm with you in that way of thinking, but to me, this is more like a tech demo or a pitch project to get investors. It's difficult to draw the line because the video was made public and obviously it's getting a lot of hype, but it didn't say PREORDER NOW or even mention a console exlusivity or a release date. Or maybe I'm too hyped and lost my objectivity
Yeah, never get too hyped. I rarely preorder but if i do it's a cheap ass game (argentina store) and a game i know i'll definitely play and enjoy. Masquerade 2 took a weird turn though, but that change is not normal
Anyway, we'll have to wait and see how it looks when the proper trailers appear, and then finally youtube streams. At least i will after this showing.
And the bow sounds are stolen from Dark Souls around 2:30
stock sounds is just as common as stock textures etc... stock sounds is probably even more common, there's a few iconic ones you always hear in games and movies. for small studios it's a must. edit: if you google "dark souls" "stock sounds" you will see that people say the same about Dark Souls; "they've stolen this sound from..."
