Seen two episodes. It's decent. The first episode could be called "Sigh...." because it's all the main character does though out the entire episode. Ep2 is the same but things gets a little more interesting. Very generic story, so far. Don't listen to me though, people seem to love the show and i bet it gets better Solid acting from Winslet.
It's a quality production, doesn't really innovate anything but offers solid acting, writing, directing and pacing. The characters with their flaws and quirks come across as believable, there are no modern annoyances that spoil the party and the twists are mostly well-orchestrated, fitting the realistic tone. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was one of those series that keeps me watching because the acting is solid, there's a lot of filler shit / family drama that doesn't interest me the least, the parts with her daughter is such a drag.
the soundtrack is hilariously bad, when there's sadness - sad violin playing, then they later seem to get self aware about how it's used to a comedic extent it and change it to random sad piano and/or drone.
weak 6/10, felt like a waste, tons of effort on something so totally generic and forgettable.
