LMAO some quality stuff there dude

I especially liked the link http://www.joystiq.com/entry/1234000477025364/

Yes, we're all doomed as the Russian army that is Starforce takes over our hearts and minds Smile

Seriously I know it causes problems on a minority of machines however most of those guys still come across as being pissed that they can't copy SF3 protected software.

Fact is still that most don't give a damn about Starforce, only really that minority who want to back up their legitimately purchased games, and that much larger minority who want to download them for free.

I have some problems with SF3... not big (it turns off some of the USB drivers, fortunately I found a way around), but still they should not exist...

I also think that most ppl complaining about SF3 is those that are to cheap to buy one or two games... They want everything for free... If there were releases that install SF3 drivers, and then go around the CD check... (something like loaders), and ppl would get every game - they wouldn't complain... Everything would work OK, even though the SF3 drivers are on their PCs... They are just pissed off that they don't have their games for free... I don't like putting my CDs/DVDs in the Drives everytime I want to play a game... but I can live with that...

SF3 in time will be beaten.... but till then...

JUST BUY THOSE GAMES IF YOU WANT AND STOP COMPLAINING...

I just read this, it might be old news but I first read it now.

http://www.starforcemeat.tk/

It states that SF 3.xx lets any user on your computer to create a system-owned process.

This might have been fixed in later SF versions, but if not, it's a bad security hole.
