I think it looks fairly funny, but it might just be the trailer and the rest is boring.

It's like that Ready Player One but for the kids born in this millenium... and fans of GTA (more like Saints Row) and Fortnite. The plot is stupid, so much random shit and easter eggs on screen. How this movie has 7.6 on imdb and is a "hit" in cinemas is beyond me.

I downloaded and watched it. I liked it better than Ready Player One.
Not that it was GOOD mind you. Just better [IMHO] than RPO. RPO to me was a convoluted feels plot wrapped in `memberberries duct tape to hold it together.
At least this one didn't try to be serious or have a deep story, meaning, or such. Just dumb same-same Ryan 'every character the same' Reynolds comedy..for whatever that's worth.
Downloaded it with the low expectation based off the trailer of: This is ryan being his standard only character self playing GTA 5 with a sappy needless love plot. And got exactly that.
Then again take my view with a whole box of salt: Only shows I watch is either comedy or science based (not exaggerating..plot/serial/story/drama driven ones don't do it for me. So if nothing is on comedy central, cartoon network/adult swim or science channel there is 'nothing on now to watch'). And movies are JUST comedies.
