They created already a pg13 crapola version of 2, which tried to run theatrically and was a big fail. Hopefully that will scare them enough. But you never know. Expendables 3 was PG13 after previous two were R, and was retarded. And on that Stallone promised "we maek it harrcorr". Let's see.
You don't have to worry about this being PG-13. If they wanted something different they would start from scratch exactly like they are doing with X-Men. But no, they want this highly successful version of Deadpool and as Reynolds says it's not just him, it's the entire creative team they want. It will be R for sure.

I liked both pretty much equally. The second had more story but the first I found more funny. The meta-jokes in the second felt a bit over-the-top at times but all in all it was still a great movie. Deadpool is def. my fave Marvell franchise with Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy behind them.
It's been confirmed multiple times it will be R, including by Feige himself (who also confirmed no other Marvel film will be R, it's just Deadpool, for those that were hoping the same for Blade). You don't have to worry about Deadpool's R-rating, but it might be a softer R than before.

As long as it's got that mix of sick comedy style whether it's the insulting credits, 4th wall breaking jokes, meta jokes, poking fun at x-men etc. mixed with a little drama and a ton of action I'm good. If they take the comedy and action of the first (which was basically an origin story) and a story like they had in the second; a hopefully better story at that.. The story in the DP2 wasn't bad but it could've been better. And they must include Blind Al, Dopinder and Weasel in DP3. They are key characters for the DP franchise.

Yes. Shawn Levy while good is very by the books. Think modernized ginger director that does does it all by the books and stays safe. So it'll be good, but generic good. Like those Tom Hanks movies about Jesus and shit. Entertaining. It's CBM movie. You don't want it generic. Generic is Antman. Generic is captain Marvel. Generic is just get the box office numbers. This will guarantee box office numbers, so I hope Shawn steps out of his comfort zone and delivers. Free guy was generic. That new Netflix movie looks generic too. Night at the museum was fantastic but the cast and script made it fantastic. Real Steel was generic. It's all by the books, stay within budget, make sacrifices, don't go too far. Keep studios happy. Gondry would make a great deadpool movie.

Given Shawns track record. It might as well be pg lol. I would have given deadpool to the first director. Go balls to the walls. Not soft balls to the soft walls. You want unexpected, not expected. I hope it's rated R. It will get the numbers studios want. Regardless of rating. It will get much more under pg than r. But even under pg13 they can be violent and crazy just not graphic.
