Ugh. I don't like the fake 3d mario, I hate the sound effects, game speed is totally off and fuck, why does that flower jump out of the box? >:O
I'm going to make my own mario... WITH BLACK JACK AND HOOKERS!

Firsts SML is complete crap!
Triggered, Sabin?
Two Golden Coins is when it really shined. Wario Land was also amazing. Why did Nintendo abandon Wario? He is such a fun character. Like a japcrap Trump. Mario is a psychopath but somehow hides it under the guise of caring for peach; why canโt Wario get the same leeway?

One "hidden" gem is the Gameboy Donkey Kong. A genuinely great game, that starts silly with the arcade levels, but then opens up into a proper psycho Mario game.

I used to skip school to play SML2.
My mom got me the Gaem Boy in 1995-1996, a few months after we came to Israel. So I didn't know the language, only had Bulgarian friends, of which there weren't many. So in school I would just sit and draw or pull my teeth out. So instead, I'd just stay at home "sick" and play that Mario game to death.

Good memories, eh? I love it when that happens and, despite how much gaming has progressed over the last 30 years, it almost always comes back to childhood favourite games that bring a glorious happy memory to light

Haha, awesome! Well... not awesome being trapped by a language barrier, but hey, Game Boy! ^_^

Oh, games today are nowhere near exciting or good! Somehow Nintendo still manages to make these games exciting after so many decades! I didn't just buy a Switch, I bought a Switch because I knew it was worth it for Odyssey! I don't like the New Bros games due to *wah wah* short levels *wah wah* and terribad *wah wah* music. But I do hope a 3D World port or new game!
