Can't wait for White Wayne or something... i mean now when there are, at least, two black super hero characters where skin color is so important that its in the name, its only fair to have a "proud to be white" character as well, no?
Maybe they can have like a 100% white community where everyone is like a super smart sci-fi James Bond type who looks down on all the other races because of how superior they are.. maybe have a scene where some kids just happens to have a poster of Skrewdriver on the wall too.. oh wait, its Black Panther in reverse

Because with a lower budget and conservative P&A costs, Shazam! hit break-even somewhere between $235-250 million, so a finish north of $350 million makes it a successful investment and something at least close to $400 million is a win for a modestly budgeted smaller-scale family-friendly superhero movie.
Bomb would have been if it made less than the break-even point of $235-250M, which it did not. It made $364M. Not exactly a win, but definitely not a bomb.

Looks decent. Nice colour palette when colour was used instead of orange sand colours. Some nice visuals too. For a moment I thought Gunn consulted on it.
Only thing I could think of while watching the trailer was in what boring way it's shot. All the superhero tropes.

Meh. I'm just burnt out on comic book movies and The Rock at this point. It's like I can't watch anything and not have him pop up to shill some product. From his home gym, of course.
I respect the hustle but I'm also tired of it.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
