any tips n tricks for 9 , what is appure , heard it helped update android apps and helped with crashes in a pure android 9 phone by updating the apps or something ) Im coming from android 4 and 5 so be gentle 
One thing i learned fast on older cheaper phones was to turn off auto updates immediatly as that just fills ur ram with shit real fast and return apps u dont use to factory so they take up as little space as possible (never unlocked or rooted , didnt want to mess with that)
Any apps u always have on ur android phones these days ? All i use my phone for is youtube, movies n whatsap/snap lol
really would like to get rid of chrome and use google as little as possible this time around. alternatives? also an integrated pop up blocker would be swell,duckduck go has mobile ?
Also one of these translate what u see app sounds usefull if free
Not unlocking or any of this fancy stuff.
finally upgrading my phones from android 4 and 5 to 9 and 10 , only reason im upgrading is cause my 4 had a cracked screen now ( still works perfectly after 5 years and very decent battery life, just snapchat that wanted v5 and stopped supporting v4 ) and my 5 that i bought to replace the cracked screen one, its internal storage corrupted and couldnt reflash to factory anymore after doing it succesfull a couple times when it started completely crashing or not loading its settings page anymore, but now it tells me permission denied in fastboot ... ) so im stuck with a perfectly fine screen and battery , cause of some corrupted storage or connection of storage , i think only one of the three partitions (the recovery one, system one seem to work fine and is flashable) is dead, the recovery menu is completely gone and bootloops the phone when trying to enter it, only have fastboot left and well trying to delete or write certain partitions gives me permission denied this time after flashing it succesfully before. something finally gave out.

got me the first generation for 100 eur to try out the brand so i always have a backup phone in case my android 4 finally decides to quit on me.

No, I'm saying what I'm saying.
I don't know if it is typical or atypical of a desktop user but I don't care much about my phone other than: does it get updates, does it do what I want it to do. I spent between 0 and 5 hours a week on it. For the rest I have my other (superior) devices to gobble up content.
I wouldn't have commented but you questioned if the lack of attention was '@pple fanboi'ism'. So I wanted to give you another reason.
Do continue your thread, just don't expect everyone to be interested in it for various reasons.

holy fuck, the standard android 9 install takes up 6.5 gig on its own .... , my 2014 phone with android 4 was like 600 megs when i got it... and adroid 5 was like 900 meg? including bloatware
hundreds of ring tones, call tones, wallpapers, dafuck is wrong with these developers, did they think like shit we cant sell ringtones anymore, no idiots buying them anymore, just dump em all on the phone so people buy phones with more space
what a load of shit this industry
how much space does lineage take up ?
