It happens to both Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 and Audacity. Windows 10 Pro 64bits

I've configured my Logitech G633 headset for recordings on the program, but there's an issue

Let's say that i record a voice clip and for a moment i do a looong light scream that lasts 5 seconds. Whenever i stop it, and play the audio file to see how it came out, there's a moment in the scream where the volume auto-lowers itself down, making the scream less audible

I think there's some kind of limitator in the program but i can't seem to find it

I have already went to the Windows' sound settings and disabled any possible "App controls this device" option from the headset, soundcard and mic, even the communications tab, but nope, it just won't let me...

Any help, please?

Because i've been recording some long quotes for a mugen character a friend is doing and he needed a long KO scream , hence the issue

I tried normal talking and it works wonders, yeah, but i need this feature of constant , same volume without being reduced automaticly/randomly

Logitech G633 is connected via USB but even with 3.5mm doesn't works

I don't know, really...And i just googled it out but nothing. Sound Equalizer was disabled by default, just like the rest.

Have you tried recording using different audio recording tools? Get Audacity (free) and try to record with your mic. And yes, it seems like some kind of normalization/auto-gain function being enabled.

I saw this thread; perhaps it will help: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?t=91045

I tried Audacity too but it has the same issue, even with the 3 options at the left of it (MME, DirectSound, WASAPI)

The only options i have in the mic at W10's settings are:

-CAG (Enabled)
-Exclusive mode (Disabled)

The Logitech software doesn't seem to help much neither. Mic there is at the max , and even with Equalizer mode and Auto-Delete mic's noise doesn't helps neither, even if set as enabled/disabled in all the possible combos

Unless i'm not looking at the right path , i don't know what else could be wrong

And that Virtual Studio , or whatever in the link, everything i record gives out an error when playing with WMP (That or freezes the program, even when the headset's mic is chosen but cannot be changed in the options)

I'm using Voicemeeter (vb-audio) to connect my mic through a virtual card.

https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/ It adds an extra layer, that especially lets you reduce lag and pre-equalize the sound before it reaches your default device.

Very handy.

WHY do you have Auto-gain enabled?! It will increase volume when you're whispering and decrease the volume when you're raising your voice. Can be useful when chatting online, crap when recording content.

I take it you've tried disabling it already and then tried recording? Perhaps you need to reboot for the setting to take effect.
