Why have they not made a remake of this game?

Imagine what they could do with Blade Runner videogame now. They could go Fallout style or Mass Effect style or even FP-RPG style

LA Noire would be a perfect template for a blade runner game.

I replayed this so many times back then.
Also i keep watching videos of this once in a while. Still looks rather good.

A big problem of this game, was Westwood's idiotic decision to not have ANY subtitles. Since it only had limited translations, it meant it really didn't penetrate all countries as much as it should have. It sold abysmally in Belgium as a result - the second hand store was full of copies due to people returning it because they didn't understand a word of what was being said (the store owner told me this by the way). I actually accidentally bought the French version so swapped it for an English one at the store - the French version sold way better apparently so I got a straight swap.

I was pretty good at understanding English at the time but even I had a rough time and the fact it's set in the future and is filled with non-existing words didn't help. So yeah, not surprised it's being forgotten.

I did love the game - in fact you reminded me I ought to replay it - but every game like this needs subtitles FFS.

The game is (finally) fully supported by ScummVM, should make things easier for anyone who wants to play/replay it on a modern system Smile

I never got far in the game back when I played it more than 14-15 years ago but this moment always stood out to me.

1 and 2 are still amazing.
