Yep, I was about to hit the virtual skip button but the fact that it isn't yet another roguelike and has actual level design definitely makes me want to check it out
I finished going through doors and rolling like a crazy pigeon, it was pleasant indeed. Not as awesomg-esque as the journos claim but there's charm in it, competent level design with shortcuts and paths that are linked to your powers, nice music/art style, and a decent amount of polish which never hurts.
The combat is on the simplistic side and regular encounters aren't particularly challenging or rewarding, but exploring is satisfying and so is progressing through the various areas till their respective outlandish bosses. The fact that it was made by a handful of people is remarkable, hopefully they'll get to expand their avian vision in the future.
