Academy Award-winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in FORD v FERRARI, based on the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

Well it took a supernatural effort for the car not to set itself on fire at random but in the end it was a good peace of machinery, not exactly a Mercedes but good.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Well, Bale really manages to make you forget its Bale at times. Whereas Damon is always Damon, allthough he plays well.

No NUC will give you a good experience sadly. Are there even NUCs with Intel crapola that have an HDMI 2.0 out? And that's on top of shitty Windows support...
Very sadly, I'd recommend going the streamer route; either Apple TV or Shield. I use an Apple TV 4K with an app called Infuse, which connects directly to my Plex server from the NAS and streams dem 4K remuxes no problem (up to 600Mbit 60fps 4K).
My old i3 4010U NUC cannot handle 4k And the built in video player in my LG OLED sucks dick. I guess it's time for a NUC update
Which LG do you have again? My 65B9 had no issues with 4k 10bit 60fps h265 gemini man. Well except for it does not play the dolby atmos from those yarr rips, but only the ac3. I have no clue how to encode or chose the correct releases for my tv

It's coming 10-11/2 so probably coming soon enough.
What transcoding? I use Plex for organization and metadata, but everything is streamed in original quality. The player I use just gets the path to the file and streams it.
