*drool* That artwork is incredible I don't know what it is about pixel games that really tickle my tastebuds, but I do so love them <3 Hopefully people *aren't* getting sick of it though, as that just means KS are even more risky ventures

I'm a pixelated fan myself, as long as the game is good that goes with it. I have enough of the games on my android phone

<3 <3 Mage Gauntlet <3 <3
There's another one called Dark Incursion which looks magnificent, but sadly the controls are so terrible that I never really got far into the game

in my case it was hundreds of hours with my brother spent on our famicon clone console when i was a child (there wasnt any regular Famicons/NESs in communist era here - only clones from vietnamese markets )
Fuck, that trailer is absolutely amazing, 100% perfect, castlevania / darksouls / shadow of collosus mixed all together, looking gorgeus. They could easily make it very good with only basic platform / combat mechanics but all that great vistas, giants climbing, horse riding and whatnot makes it totally worth waiting.
What’s up with the Death’s Gambit Kickstarter?
We can’t answer yet. It is taking a bit longer to disclose exactly why we haven’t mentioned anything, but please give us a bit more time. Don’t worry, development is going smoothly! Death’s Gambit is happening! =D
They weren't kidding, it really is an arcadier (and faster) 2D Dark Souls with the whole stamina management and even the same-ish core mechanics. Me likey!
I don't know... they should've stayed with 2d pixel animation only or that skeleton driven animation system. I understand it'd be an almost impossible task with those huge bosses, but now the style is skewed. Same applies to the, sometimes, blurry backgrounds, while most of the stuff has a solid palette it works with.
"Upon dying, Death will siphon your soul and resurrect you at the last Shrine you activated."
"Healing:
Phoenix feathers are your healing potions and they only regenerate at save points"
"Variation:
Phoenix Plumes come in all variations and occupy an equipment slot. These feathers all restore your health while providing additional bonuses. Each feather type has it’s strengths and weaknesses.
Independent of how many variations you have, Phoenix Plumes share global usage. Replacing the type of plume you have equipped will not grant you more uses. However, resting at a save point will recharge the uses. "
Death and Recovery
Whenever you die, you will drop one Phoenix Plume where you perished. This means you have one less healing item until you go back to the location where you died and recover the feather
