OC Settings Titan X (GM200):
The fan curve is non-default and optimized for silence only, not for performance.
However, I ran 2x tests with the fan speed set to 100% and it didn't make a difference in performance, only max temp was -3°C cooler.
Thermals:
Case 1:
- No thermal data available (forgot to track it)
Case 2:
Max Temp GPU: 81°C

Case 3:
Min Temp GPU: 21°C
Max Temp GPU: 50°C

Final Verdict:
I don't know if upgrading to a 8700K was worth it, but I just couldn't take it anymore and my body was craving for a change.
If I knew then what I know now I'd skip upgrading the CPU/Mobo/RAM and only buy the Arctic Accelero Extreme III or even IV.
The IV I could not fit into my current setup because it's huge backplate would interfere with the Dark Rock Pro 4 CPU Cooler, so after the unlucky upgrade the only option was to buy the AAE III, but I'm not disappointed.
To the contrary.
I'm not sure what's more impressive, the benchmark results using slight OC settings (not even voltage added) or the thermal results...
I mean going down from 33°C minimum idle to 21°C and from 81/82°C max down to 50°C at silent fan profile (when using 100% fanspeed max temp is 47°C, but it's not worth the performance gain).
Absolutely incredible!
Now I need your help...
Can someone with a similar configuration (like 8700K should be pretty common no?) run the same benchmarks please and post the results, IF you have a GTX 1070 or GTX 1070 Ti.
Only those two GPUs interest me to compare it to.
That would be great.

accelero extreme is amazing cooler, its very silent even at full fan speeds, had one on 290x back in the day, temps dropped like over 20c even compared to asus directcu cooler.

These seem to be watercooler levels cool? How much did you pay?
BTW your testing method is totally obscure, it seems as if you have changed multiple parameters at once. Did you change the OC between Setup 2 and 3? Also why don't you make a proper excel with the data, calculate percentage differences and generate a simple graph?

I agree. I have the Arctic Accelero Xtreme 7970 on my broken Radeon HD 7950 O/C and it was just awesome. Even with fans @ 100% it was barely audible thanks to really well designed fans.
The only negative was that it was a lot of work putting it together (or rather putting on all the heat sinks that comes with it on VRM's, RAM and other components if you want to (I did)).

Nice! The GPU mod allows you to use your card to its full potential with no compromises.
I did a similar thing with my Vega 64 and a Raijintek Morpheus plus two Noctua Fans.
edit: What is the power consumption at OC settings?

HWinfo and GPU-Z show me Core and Memory Power draw, but not the whole Cards power usage sadly. But I thought, Nvidia cards show you the whole power usage of the card in HWinfo or GPU-Z.
I also use a Fritzdect 200 to monitor whole system power draw. But its not very precise, since you need to substract CPU and other system components.
I came to the conclusion that I need to add 36% to what HWinfo shows to know my GPU Power usage.

Installed today Rajintek Morpheus II to my 1080Ti since my Alphacool Eiswolf pump died. Surprising results that this keeps with 2x Corsair ML120 fans core below 50c when overclocked, its better than the Eiswolf (ML fans @ 60%, very very silent) -.-

This behemoth takes like 4,5 slots better cool well for this size, but still im impressed, did not think it can cool this well compared to Eiswolf (VRM also is kept cool with the heatsinks provided, since the ML120 fans push lots of air through the massive heatsink directly to VRM/memory).
I have ordered full custom loop and i will not ever again touch AIO solutions (needed to RMA my Enermax 360 TR4 aswell , whole first gen model did not have anti corrosion liquids inside, so its full of rust and shit)...
But now i am rocking with Noctua U14S TR4 + this GPU cooler, very impressed by thermals and noise levels, but everything looks like shit now inside my case, this case is made for watercooling and since it has window, it cannot be unseen
