Just to clarify things up, Shrek, Shrek 2, Shark Tale and Madagascar have been all created and distributed by DreamWorks Animation.
Pixar is the studio that created Toy Story 1 and 2, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, animated movies that were distributed by Disney.

Played this yesterday with my two young lads and its a very nice family game.

A warning for PAL users, it will not auto change to U.S region (mode 0 i guess, eeprom default) and as a result suffers terribly from a sync problem and runs badly throughout. A quick enigma change to NTSC and it runs like butter.

Me and my son have played it on our pal machine and have no problems at all.. does the sync problem kick in later in the game?
