Quote:
Hit Scandinavian crime drama The Investigation, from A War and Mindhunter director Tobias Lindholm, is getting a U.S. airing after HBO acquired the limited series.

The premium cable network has bought the linear and streaming rights to the six-part series, which comes from Miso Film, the Danish production company owned by Fremantle.

The Investigation explores the case of the 2017 murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, who was killed after boarding a homemade submarine. The case was one of the most notorious in Denmark’s history and made international headlines after Wall’s body parts were found in different locations and the owner of the submarine Peter Madsen was charged and convicted of her murder.

It will launch on HBO on Monday February 1 at 10pm and will stream via HBO Max.

yes, me too Wink i'm on episode 3. it's just the story we all(?) know, very straight forward, great acting. It's really not too interesting to be honest lol, but i will watch this since i just find it very easy to watch, nothing in it annoys me which i guess is the best critique i can give.

If someone isn't familiar with the whole story of Kim Wall its probably a little bit more interesting.

Finished. Yeah it was good and depressing.

Not really a spoiler, especially if you know just the basic facts about the case..
 Spoiler:

It does take away from the otherwise superb realism that they explain stuff to the viewer by explaining it to the cops. Things they should already know, e.g beyond reasonable doubt.. no biggie but it happens fairly often so it's a bit like the cops are quite dumb and doesn't understand the basics of a legal case.

There were a few details that i did not know from before, otherwise it played out like i expected so it wasn't exactly an exciting watch..

No. Didn't like it, but it has more to do with one of the characters which is all over the place and i got annoyed because she wasn't realistic..
