Hi,
I have recorded a meeting with two microphones.
One mic is the one in my headset and records my voice loud and clear.
The other mic stands in the middle of the conference room, it's an omni-directional mic and it's supported to capture the comments and questions of the participants.
I looked at the audio streams and when I overlap them, there is a slight echo (my voice) hearable.
Presumably from the micro-lag between the two mics or maybe sound travel differences.
Anyhow my question is how can I make audio track 2 "more silent" but only when audio track 1 gets loud (has activity)?
Track 1: my voice
Track 2: everyone elses voice (+my voice but slighty more silent).
I want my voice in Track 2 "cancelled" out, so to speak, such that track 2 only "plays" the sounds that DON'T match on both tracks == when OTHER people talk.
Is there a technique or tool that can do that?
I have ffmpeg, Audacity, Pinnacle Studio, ... I can download free software of course if you recommend a tool for the job.
Thanks for helpful responses in advance.
Also, fuck unhelpful responses in advance.
