I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an audio program for Windows 10 (or at least compatible with it) that will allow you to adjust certain programs that are running to a volume level above 100%. I have a few games and things that seem to have low volume levels even when at 100% and I am trying to avoid having to constantly adjust my whole audio setup just for those few random oddities so a program would help.
I just found Volume Master for Chrome so that has helped with stuff like YouTube and Twitch but now would like to see if there is something similar anyone has used for specific programs in Windows.
There is a program that I have used for years to do what you requested (and more): DFX audio enhancer.
I looked up the program and it does not seem to be exactly what I am looking for or maybe it is a certain version but I am just trying to find something that would be similar to the Windows Volume mixer that would do the same easily on the fly. Like using the below example with the default Volume mixer, just having everything at 100% volume and if Battle.net was the random troubling app, being able to just quickly have that slider at 150% volume.

What I do, and it couldn't be of use to you (but it helps me with the external mixer and studio monitors) is to lower the volumes of the apps I want in background and keep the volume of Battle.net at 100%. Then I proceed to adjust the external mixer volume (think of your speakers or headphones volume - if they have one) and enjoy the layering. Also, this way the sound doesn't ever distort or digital clip, something that can occur while you cross the 100% volume factor due to your audio chip headroom. If you need more volume overall for your output you can use this: https://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/
Increase the volume of the speakers or get a headphone amp? The latter alternative will let you get the spdif-signal into the headphone amp and you can enjoy digital->digital->(depending on price-bracket for amp)->superior analog conversion to your headphones.
Thanks for the tips, I was hoping I might of overlooked a program that may allow the crank it to 11 easily for those random odd games I may come across with low volume while I have videos or other sound things running on my second monitor. I will probably have to opt for the overall system volume slider lower and raise my 5.1 speaker volume then that way I can have some lead way for low volume games with the Windows volume mixer slider if I run into this problem again.
