EA has announced that Madden 19 will launch for PC alongside the console versions, on August 10. This makes it the first entry in the series to release on the platform in more than a decade; the last Madden game to come to PC was 2007's Madden 08.
American "football", the sport where the "ball" isn't a ball and where the majority of the game is spent throwing and running with the not-ball. I wonder why NFL was dropped (several times). Perhaps because it's basically only yanks that have any interest in a very very very boring sport (cricket is worse).

I think he'd be very disappointed in this thread: a repeat of the same jokes used whenever American Football is mentioned.

And it will continue as long as that particular non-foot/non-ball sport is called FOOTBALL.
The only issue I have with it is the overabundance of commercials and stoppages. But if you watch the condensed versions on NFL Gamepass (the actual gametime is around 7-9 minutes per 60 minutes of clocked time per 2-3 hours of broadcast time) it's really exciting and deep.
About the only entertaining soccer moments are the fake injuries. Otherwise, it's quite boring watching people doing nothing entertaining passing the ball around. Now, if they added hockey-like elements of fighting and hitting, then you would have a better sport. lol

Agreed, football (or soccer for yankees ) is very boring. It takes soooo long to finish a match. Too many crybabies too. They should shorten matches by 30-40 minutes overal (so 25-30 mins per half), maybe the teams will go all out then instead of walking slowly around all the time.

One way to make football more fun is to shrink the field by 30%, remove 2 players from each team. That will make it faster and a lot of the energy wasted on running for 90 minutes will go into more "fun" stuff.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
