Asked waifu what the red day was about on Tuesday... got a look from her while she said: "You don't even know our national day?" 
Next day I woke up, I shouted: Sverige! I'm integrated again. 
Had to think really hard what date the Belgian one was when she asked if I knew that one... and even that was wrong after a google (I mixed it up with the French one). :>

In what way am I intolerant of others' opinions? By arguing against them? Isn't that the point of discussing things? If you post on an open forum you have to be prepared to meet resistance.
Populism is the lowest form of political stance I can think of. It's cheap, shallow and pathetic. Nationalism? That depends on what you mean by nationalism. The overly isolationist and patriotic bullshit that is prevalent these days is abhorrent.

Well OK, if you ever see me posting something racist call me out. But it annoys me when you say heavy stuff like I have to convince people I am not a racist or that I post "that kind of crud" just because I made light fun of Sweden's national day with a pic, which wasn't even distastefu!.

What is it about racism that triggers so many people? What people call racism is also often broad generalizations and not even about a single undividual, and also often not even racism... Anyeay. What makes racism so much worse than other very personal insults? I dont see it.

Not an answer though. Im pretty sure most people are simply conditioned to view it like they do, but i find it quite pathetic when they strike down on racism worse than any other form for bullying.
"I dont like black people" or "i dont like fat/skinny/red haired/tall people" i dont see any worse or better as they all target a personal factor which a person cant do anything about.

I think you'd find your answer in past events and history as to why racism is rightly perceived in a much more negative way than harassing people based on their physique. The same goes for antisemitism.
It's just not the same calling someone dumb because he is fat or because he is black ( not from X country or from X culture ), when doing the latter you create another kind of distinction that is.. colorism, but would generally be perceived as racism.
