if you own it please post comment because i just bought the USBExtreme and i found only a few games are compatible... also is Swap Magic 3.6 require anything else to work or i just need to boot the PS@ with the MEDIA ?

Although if it's an old shape ps2 then get Hard Drive Advance.
I've got that on an unmodded PS2 and it's great.

i forgot to say i have the Slim one PSTwo so HDD Advance wont work in mine...
so far the game i tried that didn`t work are
Midnight Clud 3 dub edition
Burnout 3 takedown
Cold Winter
Are 51
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (game start but freeze after i select solo mode)

There is a way of putting a hdd onto a ps2slim if you're handy with a soldering iron.
Not for the faint hearted though.
Personally, if I were you I would sell the slim and get an old style ps2. The internal hdd function is great with Hard Drive Advance. I have a 300gb drive in mine and it's great.
If you're after getting your slim chipped, then most certainly get a dms4 chip. It patches the games on the fly

I have a Swap Magic 3.2 to go with my V7 and so far the only game that won't work is GT4 because it's DVD-9. Where I live they want $120cdn for a chip + install, i paid $40cdn for my swap magic and would reccomend it to anyone.
