Going on a 4 day trip to Tuscany, staying in Castellina in Chianti Very Happy

Need suggestions on what to see while there from anyone that's been there. So far the plan is to visit Radda in Chianti, Gaole in Chianti and most of the castles/fortresses in the surrounding area (and the Etruscan tombs). Also, gonna visit San Gimignano and Monteriggioni as well as a whole day in Firenze.
Oh and gonna visit the tower in Pisa just so I can say I visited the tower in Pisa.

Have a car so anything within an hour drive is ok.

Any restaurant/food/drink/general tips are also welcome Very Happy

Vai!! You got yourself a nice plan, I'm not too familiar with the upper Chianti (been there, though veery briefly Very Happy) but those are indeed the right spots to visit if you're interested in the right mix between history and nature. I would add Volterra too, another beautiful little town that should be within your reach. Siena is quite amazing as well if only for the peculiar shell-shaped square (the one where the iconic Palio is run) and the Duomo, definitely a gem that's worth a visit if you can find some time. (Fun fact, I've never actually visited Pisa's Tower myself despite having seen it so many times from afar. One day...maybe xD)

As for general tips, there isn't much that I can suggest besides trying to learn to gesticulate a lot since it's the only foreign form of communication that is understood Cool Face

All kidding aside, everything is pretty standard when it comes to habits or restaurants, pasta and meat (of all types) are the specialties as one would expect, with the Pici al Ragù and Florentine steak combo being godly. Razz I don't have any suggestions sadly, but there are many Trattorias/Restaurants that aren't too greedy and offer quality meals (Tripadvisor and the likes are ok if one wants to have an idea). When it comes to food usually I'd say it's better to avoid the very touristic places since they're typically the ones with the worst price/quality ratio - also be careful with the wines there, those can truly murder the poor wallet!
