Daaaymn, this is a recreation of the Doom 64 game (which is like a spin-off of the main Doom series, exclusive for the N64) as a mod for GZDoom. Goddamn it looks and plays good. It has all the original maps and some extra episodes, selectable from the menu.
It is like a remastered version of the original with some polish. You can enable some GZDoom gfx options and make it look better than Doom 64 EX, some minor map fixes have been applied, too. It has options to toggle enhanced weapon animations and other goodies like a testing map etc.
And no Brutal Doom autism. IMO this is now the best way to play Doom 64, period.

fuck that looks awesome, will give this a playthrough. Funny all these new dev's failing to capture the glory that was these classic shooters.
dusk, strafe, devil daggers etc.. garbage compared to modded doom.
Have you given DUSK a chance? It is way better than the bullshit STRAFE. Devil Daggers I haven't played but it looks so simple, I'm going to watch a gameplay review later. But it doesn't have maps, so ....
Sorry not really, only because it hands down looks worse than original quake. The lighting, the levels, the gun models, the monsters. Every element of that dusk looks worse than Quake 1.. i think with 20+ years of technology you should be able to at least meet the original's level of quality otherwise why even bother. Look at them side by side
quake 1, 1996:
Dusk 2017:
if they did meet the quality, with a campaign as long as quake 2 etc. fuck yeah i'd pay $30 for that no probs.
