Claiming to have received information from a credible source on Twitter with connections to NRS — who supposedly leaked the entire MKX roster on his personal website back in February 2015 — Righteoushall04 notes that MK11 is planned to have a roster of 30 characters, with 10 additional fighters planned to be DLC. This would make the game’s cast slightly larger than Injustice 2‘s roster once it receives all three full Fighter Packs, continuing a company trend of increasing roster sizes with each new game. Of these 30 Kombatants, 17 will be returning from MKXL, 7 will be returning from previous games (with 6 of those being from the old 3D-era titles), and the final 6 will be new challengers.

He than mentions the 17 base roster characters he’s seen “lots of artwork and rendering for,” and they are as follows:
Kano
Li Mei
Noob Saibot
Bo Rai Cho
Johnny Cage
Shang Tsung
Jade
Daegon
Cassie Cage
Jacqui Briggs
Frost
Kenshi
Kotal Kahn
Jax

Finally, the poster notes that Mortal Kombat 11 should release around Spring 2019, which lines up with the NRS tradition of making a new game every other year.
Could be fake, so take it with a shovel of salt, but no reason not to trust it. MK11 by this point is a given.

Probably something to do with the fact that it makes a ton of money, been around for 27 years and in that time each iteration has been a visual improvement over the last thanks to the progression of technology over the years.
New Mortal Kombats have also improved gameplay, as well as brought interesting stories. I don’t see what the problem is. Last MK was released four years ago. If you don’t want it, don’t buy it.

Do I need to go through all your posts where you shit on games and tell you the same thing? You do it a lot. I'm allowed to have an opinion I don't really care if you created the topic get over yourself don't like it don't make the thread in the first place. Funny how if it's a game you like you get all defensive and butthurt.
Another words you got nothing. You just repeated what I said lmao.
You shit on games all the time but when someone says something against a game you like you get mad. What are you seven years old? You act like a child.
*waits for "you're the one acting like a child"* you're so witty.
Point me to where I got mad? I only pointed why new games are released. You really should see me mad before accusing me of that.
You are free to like or dislike any game, as am I. You are free to “shit” on any game you want. At no point did I say “don’t post”; that is only reserved for KillerCrocker and TSR because they are idiots.
To start, the game ran an incredibly smooth 60 fps on handheld mode. During all the fatalities, fatal and krushing blows, kombos and any where in between, the game ran perfectly. Keep in mind, this was on handheld mode.
But there was a huge sacrifice-- the graphics were pretty poor. Especially when compared to footage I've seen of the game on Xbox and ps4 its really not great. Its definitely not bad, don't get me wrong.
It's the better sacrifice anyway, better to have it at 60fps, rather than have better lighting at 30fps.
Better sacrifice indeed but yeah somehow I already expected the game to have shitty lighting, barely any shadow / HBAO, and with the brightness maxed (you know these type of ports right ?).
That being said, i'd rather play this at 60 fps 320x240 than 30 fps @ 1080p
It was expected. What I am interested in is how they chose to gimp the graphics. Like any PBR title on Switch, it is very limited because the GPU is very weak. So I was interested if they kept the PBR engine and just lowered fidelity (which is not easy to do well, due to how the PBR pipeline works), or they went back to use non-PBR version of their engine, say like the one from MK9 or Injustice 1. If the latter is the case, I wouldn’t say it’s a bad compromise and will probably look best on the Switch. But I doubt they did that, as that is the option with the most work necessary, and would split asset development effort. They probably went the mobile version route and made it look like shit.
