Gamindustri has entered a precarious season known as the CPU Shift Period. During this time of social unrest, deprecating rumors about the CPUs have begun to saturate Gamindustri. Neptune and the others worry the citizens will soon call for new leaders to replace the them and that their rule will end.
In these critical moments for Planeptune, Neptune and Nepgear mysteriously disappear. Their destination: a divergent world, nearing its catastrophic end, called the Zero Dimension. They encounter the last remaining CPU of this world, Uzume Tennouboshi, who is desperately waging a lonely battle against a colossal evil known as the Dark CPU.
Will Neptune and Nepgear be able to work together with Uzume in order to save Zero Dimension from tragedy? So begins a new adventure for Neptune…
Gameplay
The game features a new battle system with a different combo structure to previous games, although some similarities still exist. The gameplay places strong emphasis on the positioning of characters. Each goddess character has a "Next Form", which is an additional transformation phase on top of their existing goddess transformations; these forms cause changes to combat style, in addition to character personality changes
New characters
Uzume Tennohboshi / Orange Heart: A mysterious tomboy who suffers amnesia (Represents Sega Dreamcast). She's serious and straightforward but she has her dreamy side. She's later revealed to be a CPU of Planeptune in her dimension, much like Plutia in Ultradimension. She later gain the ability to transform into Orange Heart. While as Orange Heart, her personality changes from tomboyish and seriousness into girly and childish but she can be serious in battle nonetheless. She carries a megaphone as her default weapon.
Gold Third: : A group consisting of four members who attempting to take over the four nations of Gamindustri in Hyperdimension. Among them are:
B-Sha: Represents Bandai-Namco. A young girl who plays hero and loves money but is scared of monsters. She rules over Planeptune
K-Sha: Represents Konami. A young girl attending Lastation's military academy, who becomes ruthless when holding a firearm. She rules over Lastation.
C-Sha: The leader of the group, represents Capcom. Subjected to torture by Lowee's corrupt government.
S-Sha: Represents Square Enix. Rules over Leanbox and has Vert do missions, but has another side to her.
Kurome Ankokuboshi: The main antagonist who is the dark side of Uzume and one of the Dark CPUs. Her main purpose is to merge all dimensions and destroy them into nothing.
Idea Factory International has announced that Megadimension Neptunia VII is coming to PC.
The Compile Heart-developed RPG will launch sometime this summer on PC, via Steam.
The game, initially launched for PlayStation 4 in February, includes all the features of the original release, including new characters, three worlds to save and three stories to play, a new transformation mode, an updated battle system, and a new dungeon mini-game.
The new PC release will run at 60FPS, and it will include the original Japanese voices, alongside all of its post-launch DLC.

well the assets ingame are quite the same at every game with few additions here and there, im not that surprised when they pop up a game per year.

well only the Blanc vs Zombies spinoff is left at this point ... which iirc isnt even out on consoles yet

Megadimension Neptunia VII will launch for PC via Steam on July 5, publisher Idea Factory International announced.
At launch, the RPG will be available at a 40 percent discount, with Japanese audio, Histy’s Beginner Item Set, Histy’s Trial Item Set, and a variety of missions, level caps, and accessories included free in the game.
The Steam version will also be available in a Digital Deluxe Set, which will be detailed at a later date.
