I'm going to be lazy and not do the research for once, but aren't anti-trust laws supposed to prevent such mega-corporations from swallowing all their competition ?
Google, Disney, Amazon.. who can stand up to them now ? Considering their resources, they can afford not to care about any kind of lawsuit coming their way.

To any layperson the only thing of significance about this buyout is that the X-Men and Fantastic Four will be able to join the MCU. And if Comcast bought them, they wouldn't.
