So I just bought myself my first driving wheel, it's a thrustmaster t150, which i found cheap, has ffb, perfect for casual gaming. Now I'm all over the place with driving.
Anyone else having this?

bought a thrustmaster t300 last week, the neat ferrari alcantara edition. comes with the t3pa pedals. so far its nice, but its broken. had to send it back, wheel rim constantly lost connection which resulted in random button presses. will get the new one most likely in two days. now im looking for good offer for the h-shifter. pedals arent that great, they are ok. but the t3pa pro pedals are fucking expensive

the shifter has higher priority atm. but yes the t3pa would be a huge improvement to your plastic toy under your desk. "problem" is -> the pro version costs 135 euros. im not sure if im willing to pay that much money (the shifter costs over 100 too). and if im spending that much money for pedals i could directly go for csl elite pedals

@pax: planning on finally buying ac on christmas sale (maybe pcars2 too)
@stige: t300 or t500 is superior to any logitech wheel. had the logitechs still on my watchlist but decided to get the t300. had bought the regular t300rs gt version too if i wouldnt have gotten the ferrari alcantara edition cheap (both have the t3pa pedals, normal non gt version of the t300 has the plastic toy pedals of the t150); but actually the ferrari edition was my favorite all the way. the alcantara wheel looks and feels so nice

Also a lot more expensive, worse pedals and doesn't even have a shifter included so :l
G25/G27 are really cheap second-hand, I can get those for just the price of the shifter for T300.

sure, but i paid "only" 320 euros for the alcantara edition. very decent price (and nobody touched it before with his fat fingers). i just wanted a good thing after using my old wheel for ~17 years (which still works)

300 for the package of the servo base (dunno any single pricing of that), t3pa pedals (90 euros) and the 599XX EVO 30 Wheel Add-On Alcantara (which as standalone costs 179 euros)

Only for the 300 and upwards. T150 doesn't allow it. I'm actually thinking about modding the rim, retrim it with alcantara, but I'm not sure how easy it is to remove the rim only, as it wasn't meant for that - I'm scared that I might break the wiring inside the column.

nope, i always wanted to build one myself (actually those playseats are very uncomfy for tall people like me).
my new wheel finally comes tomorrow, or lets say the replacement for the broken one. dunno why they needed one week after receiving the first one to send out a new one
