I get what you mean... from overdoing the male characters in triple A's now the indies think the better practice is to overdo the females in their industry.
I'd rather have both of them having a balance to begin with and pick whatever fits their story the best (if they even bothered writing one ) and everywhere its possible give the player a choice.
That being said... in a way I disagree with myself since I want the 'artists' to do the fuck they want to do with their piece instead of thinking of quota's and balance or favourable opinions from certain groups.

Invest? this is an indie game you think they had the money to hire professional voice actors?
skipping it isn't really a option either since this game is on xbone and psn as well you probably know what that kind of audience thinks about reading....
Sure but by invest I also meant time as in invest more time to get better performances out of the voice actors. But yeah I get what you mean by the target audience not reading

Devs have said 7-9 h and the people who allrdy beat it seem to agree on that.
Btw i played a little now and the voice acting seems totally fine to me granted i'm not a native speaker but still.

I finished in 1 sit, I explored everything and i took me 5 hours. Maybe if you make other choices you can play longer, but I doubt it. Anyway a worthy experience.
