This game got announced today i think, i read about in my local Newspaper and saw it on IGN.com, so i decided to put it up here.

Personally im a big fan of the Conan universe, i really hope Funcom will pull this into a good experience for us gamers, i will at least try the game out when it arrives. The screenshots doesnt look to bad either Smile

Now we just wait for the beta :>

Also did this to test out the template, ive done it all by the book except for the screenshot, which can be quickly removed if needed.

Its not really a mmo, from what ive read its more along the lines of guild wars..looks really neat though! The landscapes and citys look amazing. FUS RO DAH F a i t h i n m a n k i n d 0% ▓▓░░░░░░░░░░ 100%

Anyone play the Conan game that was out like last year? That was fun. I think it was a 3 cd release.

Yea, I know its nothing like it. I just wanted to see how many people played that Conana game. Did anyone actually beat it? That was one tough game. Especially once you get to the ice caverns. If I remember, there was that part there. Been a long time since I played it. Really liked it alot. I would rather of seen a sequel than a MMORPG for a Conan game.

This game will actually be a bit different than other MMORPG's. Here is a quick word from the Gamedirector: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/ageofconanhyborianadventures/preview_6123996.html

"We call the engine Real Combat, and it is based on six directions, or ways, of attacking an opponent with a sword. First, you can hack down against the head. Second, you can slash diagonally down from the right, while the third is slashing the same way from the left. Fourth, you can thrust against the torso. Fifth, you can slash diagonally up from the left, and sixth, you can slash diagonally up from the right. The point here is that these directions lend themselves naturally to being strung together in combinations. These combos unlock additional damage and faster combat, if done well."
