It was such a good (and underrated) game, with rock-solid old-school action and platforming, no gimmicks and a damn badass protagonist. Many good times were had back in the day

Me too, at the same time though the idea would immensely scare me. I can already see the gameplay being converted into yet-another-Uncharted-clone sporting seamless cinematics for gamepads, modern Holly-like narrative and last but not the least, a less sexualized version of Julie, with redux boobs and none of the deeply offensive thongs!

I remember this very well as one of the earlier Tech 3 games (i.e. Quake III Arena engine) which got marketed very heavily on the "shapely female protagonist" angle.
Good game as far as I played it but there were so many quality games released at the time that it kind of got buried in the masses. Deus Ex was released a month earlier, there was Thief 2, Diablo II just a few weeks before, Counter Strike becoming extremely popular, Red Alert 2, No-One Lives Forever, Alice, Baldur's Gate II, Shogun Total War, the first Hitman, Icewind Dale, etc. etc. etc. 2000 was a brilliant year for PC gaming and there's many lesser known games of that year that kind of were forgotten in the big rush.
