Sad idk where the best place for this help is but i'll post it here and hope to get a more likely response......

anyway like 3 hours ago my comp was fine but then all of a sudden i cant access my movies folder nor a few others. I tried system restore back to this morning at 2am but nothing got restored. I ran norton but it was clean, it's only affected 1 HD and a few folders. Is there a way i can recover these files because i know they're still there because my HD space is still used Sad.

can you still see the disk in my computer?

if so, try doing a scan disk with both options enabled. right click on disk/properties/extra and then scandisk.

you prob, need to reboot so that he can scan the disk before windows starts. Smile
