You've never played World War 2 the way it was meant to be played... with lumbering tanks dominating the battlefield, crucial supply chains fueling the frontlines, being a cog in the machine of colossal combined arms warfare. Hell Let Loose puts you in the chaos of war, complete with deep player-controlled vehicles, a dynamically evolving frontline, and crucial platoon-focused gameplay that commands the tide of battle. This is a simulation of war... not an arcade arena shooter.
Developed for PC in Unreal Engine 4, on paper, Hell Let Loose is a realistic multiplayer World War Two combined arms first person shooter of open battles of up to 100 players with infantry, tanks, artillery and a shifting front line. At it’s core is a unique resource-based strategic meta-game that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

Because they want modern players mostly with ADHD to have not remembered how we've all done this before less than a decade ago via expert modders. Game Industry is going in reverse treating gamers as mere cattle except in regard to Gfx and Sound which, thankfully, "seems" to be innovating.

WW2 Squad, there is also a pretty realistic WW2 Squad mod coming up.
And I think that the mod for Squad will shit all over this... mostly due to Squad's features being more refined already when this one here comes out and will still be in it's infancy.
It looks promising on paper, but my dream would be having all these goodies stuffed into a WWII single player campaign with open missions, reactive AI, vehicles and no handholding/cinematic bullshittery whatsoever. A dream alright
$25 dollars gets you a Steam early access key. So they want 100k off of Kickstarter AND they're going to milk Early Access for years to come? Some people really have no shame whatsoever.

Everything about that trailer looked incredibly clunky - from the movement, to the weapons, to the call-ins.

Those mean nothing, really. Go ask the folks at Bioware how the Anthem roadmap is coming along!
