So you only want the option to filter out some search results?
You could write a very simply tamper/greasmonkey script that would filter out the table rows and only triggers on the url with egosearch

ok ok, I created it for you:
Install tampermonkey (or greasemonkey if you are on FF I guess, or any other shitty userscript monkey)
and go to https://github.com/SirPumpAction/nforce_egosearch/raw/master/nforce_egosearch.user.js
to install my script.
What it looks like
This is what your ego search looks like. Notice the new button in the left quick nav menu "Show/Hide"
click on it to be greeted with
Check whichever shitty threads you want to disappear on the right side.
As long as you do not actively delete the local storage, your changes here should be saved for a looong long time.
