I actually never finished the first game so I had to play that through before starting the sequel. Anyways I completed Shadow Warrior in just over 20 hours. It was I have to say an excellent game!
After that I then played the first mission of Shadow Warrior 2.
My initial thoughts are mixed as I was not expecting it to have progressed from a Doom clone to something that is more like Borderlands with RPG elements. Its an interesting direction and not all bad but unfortunately the shiny new graphics had to mean the frame rate took a hit which is a shame but Im sure Ill get used to it.
Looking forward to more hilarious lines from Lo Wang, the guy is great fun!

It's not perfect but it's hella fun!
The customisation options are crazy and there are loads of weapons and maybe too much loot! It's quite repetitive with many fetch quests but the increased dialogue and humour is off the scale compared to the first game.
I gotta say this really annoyed me though ...
Patch 1.02 which dropped yesterday seems to have significantly improved the framerate. Aside from when one of the dismembered enemies got stuck in the scenery and the physics went a bit nuts and lagged my game lol.
