Of course everyone's next question would be when will these games be coming to PC Steam? February 7, 2017
I could deal better with teenager like models, but this is more child like. I can still play the game but it genuinely creeps me out when they go this far.
That's still not me crying or demanding they need to change it.
I know, still... child faces on young adult bodies creep me out.
I'll play it though, I really like my 'japcrap' games
Honestly that's pretty much a problem with your imagination those anime characters don't even look remotely like normal human beings to me with their huge eyes, hair in strange colors and other non human features and i can't tell what age they are supposed to be either most of the time same with the race i don't see them as caucasian or asian unless they are explicitly have features of that race which is not the case for most anime characters.
Yeaaah... I'm sure it has more to do with my imagination rather than them having child like facial features that a whole lot of people see when looking at those characters.

A lot of anime character pretty much have the same facial features, heck most of the time it's the same head with a different hairstyle or body (boobsize) not matter the gender or age it definitely is your brain filling in the blanks.
update has confirmed the Windows debut will also offer some bonuses previously included in the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita releases as DLC. In addition, a bundle will be available that offers both games for 20% off the normal price will be available.
People picking up Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will receive a number of add-ons. The Hidden Archive map will be available, providing access to an extra dungeon. The Gust Special BGM and Atelier Series Special BGM Packs, which offer extra background music, come with it. Plachta’s Aqua Suit, Lady Saber, Mascoty, Saint Knight, Silver Tail, and Violage Dollmake costumes are also included. While many of these items were previously free add-ons, the Dollmake costumes were $2.999 each and Atelier Series Special BGM Pack cost $4.99.
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will come to PCs on February 7, 2017.
MSAA, shadow quality and it supports any resolution your monitor can output though I'm guessing it's VSync'ed by default since reports on the Steam forum showed the game running at up to 120 FPS for one guy.
Both this and Nights of Azure use D3D9 though Azure is 64-bit whereas this is 32-bit, pretty much the same settings too although the launcher for Sophie is pretty poorly worded though it's serviceable.
Sophie also stores the settings in a ini file and Azure stores them in the registry, you'll have to edit said reg settings for resolution support above 1920x1080 which is the cap in the launcher for some stupid reason.
EDIT: Guessing both only ship with English VO's too.
(ReShade is compatible at least so that adds a bit of SMAA on top of the fairly poor MSAA implementation.)

Ah I haven't checked those yet, pressing ESC only displayed a "Quit game: Yes/No" prompt and it alternates between using spacebar and enter for confirming things.
(Actually I think there was a setting for difficulty and audio volume from the main menu come to think of it.)
EDIT: Yeah it seems you can switch between the VO's only without it affecting text too, nice.
(And it turns out Azure actually uses D3D11, not D3D9)
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
