“Boyz N The Hood” director John Singleton comes to TV with “Snowfall,” a new FX series is set in Los Angeles in the 1980s as the crack epidemic is about to explode. Today, the first trailer for the ten-episode first season has arrived ahead of its premiere on July 5th.
The story follows numerous characters on a violent collision course: Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), young street entrepreneur, Mexican wrestler Gustavo Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), Mexican crime lord daughter Lucia Villanueva (Emily Rios), and CIA operative Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson) who begins an off-book operation to fund the Nicaraguan Contras.

great show, started watching this 3 weeks ago and by the end of the first season i was all in and binged it all the way to the end. i did watched the pilot on release but didnt hooked me, it was nothing that wasnt done before.
even if the show has its ups and downs, there are some really great characters and amazing acting, the franklin saint character is up there with one of the bests, his entire arc is just sad to see, that season 1 ending hits hard after the shows ending.
