Bolivia, a few years from now: this beautiful South American country has become the largest cocaine producer in the world. The influential and vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel has turned the country into a narco-state, leading to lawlessness, fear, injustice, and violence. The cartel is on track to becoming a major underworld power and global threat.
An all-out war is not the answer. A surgical, stealthy, lethal approach is the only way to stop the disease at its source. The Ghosts, an elite US Special Forces team, are sent behind enemy lines to wreak havoc, destabilize, and eventually break the alliance between the cartel and the corrupted government.
Facing an almighty enemy in a massive and hostile environment, the Ghosts will need to make critical moral choices and engage in tough battles to complete their mission – their grittiest and most dangerous operation to date.
Features:
* BIENVENIDOS A BOLIVIA
From the infamous Death Road to the world's largest salt flat, journey through Ubisoft's largest open world action-adventure game to date. Discover massive regions inspired by Bolivia and South America, their stunning vistas and incredible diversity. Explore the hundreds of villages, landmarks, and legends populating this country in one of the many available vehicles, both on and off road, in the air, on land, and at sea. Immerse yourself in Bolivian culture as you cross paths with inhabitants reacting to their own agendas and to the game's day-night cycle and weather system.
* BECOME A GHOST
Lead a team of four Ghosts, the absolute best of the US military. Play either solo or with up to three of your friends online in this gritty adventure as they seamlessly join you at any point in the game.
Engage all your military missions in whatever order and manner suits you: stealth, distraction, and tactical or frontal assault always remain possible. Use the new iconic drones to recon the toughest terrains and to tag enemy outposts, or transform them into destructive weapons. Make difficult but critical choices: sabotage, interrogation, kidnapping, and assassination are but a few of the options available for you to reach your objectives. Upgrade and fully customise your Ghost with the experience and loot you gather on the battleground.
* MANIPULATE AND FACE THE CONSEQUENCES
Interact with different factions in the game: gather intel from the Santa Blanca cartel, bribe the aggressive Unidad military force, benefit from the local rebels' resources, or protect the native population.
Start inter-faction battles to cause distractions and help you reach your objectives.
The world will react differently to each of your choices: unexpected opportunities and threats could arise from any situation, turning into long-lasting and direconsequences. Manipulate the system. Manipulate the unexpected.
So far I'm really dissapointed in this game. I was already sceptic after seeing many gp videos. Only good thing is HDR in this one, other stuff is just boring, arcadey and generic, stupid AI, mediocre gfx overall. Maybe it's more fun when playing with some friends that you know, but I can't imagine how's gonna look with some random ppl on the net.
Just another Ubi game. I was hyped when The Division came out and I stopped playing it after a month or so. I played Siege for over 3 months tho, that was way better..
It's instabuy for headshot too IMO, there is too much room on his shelves
LOL
Just finished the first 6 missions in Itacua.
Its not bad at all to be honest.
I do like the game more than I thought I would.
Ill do the 2nd province tomorrow I think.
Im really enjoying this game. The more I play it the more I like it. Its kinda like a cross between The Division and Just Cause 3. The open beta is enough for me to buy this I think. I just hate how damn close the release date is to Horizon Zero Dawn though. Goddammit.
I love how one of the guys is always telling military jokes.
An Army Ranger, a Recon Marine, a Navy SEAL, and a member of Delta Force are sitting around a camp fire. The Army Ranger, bragging about his exploits says "You guys aren't so tough, I once parachuted down, marched fifty miles, and killed everyone in sight." The Recon Marine is unimpressed, and says, "That's nothing, I once made a beach landing, marched 60 miles, and killed everyone in sight." The SEAL is unimpressed, he says "That's nothing, I once swam 10 miles to shore, marched 70 miles, and killed everyone in sight with my bare hands." Thoroughly impressed, they all look over at the Delta Force member, and he's dead silent, just stirring the coals of the fire with his dick.
Done everything in both provinces now (unless more side missions seems to pop up depending on the time). Did it solo, because I didn't want to play with randoms. Flying a helicopter really annoyed me in the closed beta, but when you get a hang of how to maximize your speed its not that bad. The driving is also kinda awkward, but it works. Its fun to go full speed off road with a huge truck. Vehicles are fucking invincible! Its kinda funny how cars go thru stone fences like butter, but can't take down a telephone pole.
Heard a lot of comments about the vehicles. Other than the helicopter I don't think they're that bad. And I don't really have that much of an issue with the helicopter either. It's probably just a case of git gud lol.
I do think some of the 4 wheeled vehicles are rediculously slow though! So much so I thought it was because of the terrain I was driving on like mud but nope!
I played many average\subpar games but what I can't stand is repetitivness in those games. And everything you saw in Beta is here all over and over again in every part of the state\map. And all that with random ppl on the net, who doesn't have a clue what to do or doing something entirely else..

Waiting for Nier Automata and ME.
I'm playing with a group of friends on max difficulty and it's an awesome and hard challenge every time. Shadow of Mordor, Mad Max are as repetitive as this and yet addictive. Same here. Repetitive but addictive.
And speaking about ME - that's going to be the epitome of repetitiveness.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
It would have been nice to keep my character and retain the progress I had made in the first two provinces but nope, doing it all again! :/
Im enjoying the game solo play but I know I will stop playing in a few days for Nier: Automata lol.

That's an odd complaint for a Ubisoft game, you will be doing many things again... and again...and again...
Well yeah I know that but there is a difference between doing the same thing by playing and doing exactly the same thing by replaying what Ive already done. Ok that probably doesnt even sound like it makes sense to anyone but me but I mean all the other provinces that werent available in the beta will have different missions and locations which is fine but playing the same missions and locations that Id already done, I could have done without that.
That's why you don't go 100% in an Alpha/Beta because in 90% of the times it'll never carry over.
Ah well.
Im quite surprised I seem to be able to seamlessly travel between provinces! I was chasing a convoy and didnt realise I crossed into a new area! I was actually expecting there to be a loading screen pause between provinces as there was in the two provinces available in the beta. Obviously there would be a loading screen if I fast travelled but fast travelling is a no-no and always has been to me!
There also seems to be a shit load of videos to watch from gathered intel which is kinda cool as Im intrigued by the back stories of the characters.
The rain is pretty awesome in this game too. Got caught up in a torrential thunderstorm last night
Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands would be getting a second year of post-launch content. This new year of content, according to Ubisoft, will feature four free major updates to the game titled “Special Operations.” The first Special Operation, conveniently titled Special Operation I, will launch on April 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and feature some major changes to the game.
