Hello everyone!

So looks like my movie bag is coming to an empty state so I would like to ask Your help to recommend me movies to watch. Basically we watch 2-3 movies/day so its no surprise that the bag is empty Very Happy.

What I dont like:
Comedy (no i dont like hangover, american pie etc)
Super hero movies (avengers, guardian of the galaxy, nolan batman...all shit)
Series (for me watching game of torns is no better than watching the new macgyver series, and yes tried watching every single trending series like breaking dad, walking head and it was a borefest)

Some favorite movies:
Most of Hitchcock's movies
George Zuckor movies
Actor Peter Cushing movies
Ravenous
Sorcerer 1977 (and its original Wages of fear counterpart)
Terminator (just the first two)
Predator
Alien (first two)
The thing (the original, not the Kurt Russel one)
The man from earth
Metropolis
Ghostbusters
Toy Soldiers
The Innocents
Running scared
(of course the list could go on and on, these are just a few examples)

Favorite generes:
Horror
Thriller
Scifi
Action

Thank You if You take Your time to answer!

What about action movies that have comedic elements. F.e. Tremors? And what is the "original" the thing without kurt russel. I though that was the original one? Do you generally dislike Carpenters movies? What about They Live?

I was in Life yesterday. Nothing groundbreaking, but had me on the edge of my seat most of the time Smile

The original thing movie is actually pretty good. Not a horror by 80s (the pinnacle of horror) standards but a really enjoyable mix of mystery, thriller, suspense and a wee bit of humor. I really loved the film, but as isolated location scifi horror is my fave genre, I think carpenters thing is better.

"Thing from another world" is the real name of the movie. I like that one better than the Russel one, its just that Smile I like carpenter movies.
I already saw They live.

Yeah, basically I sit in front of the computer unless I sleep soooo....
Also don't really like social interaction

you seem a bit.. conservative, so might be hard.. i have a friend like that, i think he only likes movies he already saw like 20 years ago, everything new he absolute hates and he despise all series etc, i've recommended a few newer ones but nahhh..

Anyways, personal favorites in the horror/scifi/thriller and "philosophical" genres (you do seem to have good taste)

Public Enemy No. 1 - Part 1 +2
Bone Tomahawk
12 Angry Men
Coherence
The Deep
Chaser
Monsters (2010)
Låt den rätte komma in / let the right one in (Swedish one is the best imo)
Cube
Solaris (1972, the new one is watchable too)
Eden Lake
Memories of Murder
Nosferatu (1979)
Fire in the Sky
Prisoners (2013)
Mulholland Drive
Zodiac
Monster (2003)
Pandorum
Tropa de Elite
Fargo
District 9
Dark City
