man just got back from rise against vs alexisonfire and some other band dunno who the fuck they were. Man Rise against were mint, played all the good songs, give it all, dancing for rain, voices off camera etc. and the crowd was going wild but they were only on for about 10 songs at most and 40 mins. Then came alexisonfire and they were so shit. Seriously the crowd was deadish and certainly wasn't as involved. There was a mini pit if you can call it that but they were so poor i left well early and played pool instead. Neway 11pm comes and we need get the bus to the train station to get the 11:30 train home. So we get on the bus get to the train station at abt 11:25 and no trains going to my place! so we get 1 that's kinda close (15min drive) gets to the stop and the fucknig doors wont open. We end up about 20mis the other side of our town. We had to get a taxi which cost 60 quid, and i'm fucking freezin. to make matters worse i can't get the stench of the smelliest bastard alive out of my nose. Seriously he had streaky piss dreads on his head, they felt like shit (when thrust in my face) and were the worst smelling things imaginable. I welcomed the BO of the people to the other side of me.

The last two times I saw Rise Against (once as an opener, once as a headliner) they played just under 40 mins and just over 50 mins. Rise Against is playing in Toronto again (this makes 4 times since October 2004) at a Canada Day festival (Edgefest it's called) with Alexisonfire as well. AoF is from Ontario, so hopefully the crowd is a little more into them.

Yea alexisonfire said that 1 of them is gettin a flat/house whatever with some1 from rise against. Dunno who ive forgot  . Still 40mins was a pretty short set even though the crowd was up for more
