I like what I see - but as others already mentioned there are way too many early access games that has not been finished so far. But if the price is right, ill get it. (That is - really really cheap)
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
20 bucks for EA seems normal.. I don't see the problem there. Kickstarted things usually work like that. Me, I wouldn't play the alpha even if it was the same price as normal early access. From what I understand it's just creative mode. I'll wait until it's an actual game before I start considering checking it out.
This is on Steam, so i guess the russian site will have an upload soon enough.
I really wanted to back this but $40 for alpha access. i'll hold off and demo it, then back if it is worth it.
I have a love / hate with early access titles. Damn i remember back in the day when games just came out and no one even knew they existed until we copied them to our 3.5" floppy
The Early Access Forever™ is a technique that seems to be working, it gives (silly) people (false) hopes in a pseudo-excruciating way that limits the wave of the insta-refunds since there's always that optimistic feeling that things will be improved/fixed in the future. It's almost like the gaming equivalent of "faith", with the same results also.
Then again, one would expect that after the dozens of genuine scams and failed projects, people could learn from their mistakes, but judging from Steam they still fall for it, every single t̶i̶m̶e̶ week.
