as in topic Smile

i just want to know if i missed something intresting when i had old rig Smile and i wanna something action packed Smile how many times is it possible to play HL2 or Far Cry :/ so recently i played:

Splinter cell: Chaos Theory
Hitman serie (again)
Fear with expansion
Stalker with modz
half Life 2 with modz
and some RTS games... and now im pretty much bored. so was there some intresting shooter? fps one i mean. not alien shooter venegance alike Razz i wanna get myself busy untli bioshock pop up so please help me... what would you recommend from FPP/TPP genre?

Well you said you tried some RTS games, BUT..did you try Dawn of War + all the expansions? Personally Dark Crusade had an awsome campaign design and the game itself is one of the best RTS's around IMO along side company of heroes..both develeoped by Relic Smile

And like Leo said, RS6 Vegas was fun, I had a great time playing it and one of the few games I played all the way through, it was very action packed.

Swat 4 was awsome as well, more tacticle and slower but on Co-Op it was beautiful.

One game that was under rated into the depths of hell was Liquidator, it was based off of Hexen and they did a good job at it too. Play it for what it is and how it's meant to be played.


Dark Messiah is also a must try.

R6 Vegas yeah... finished it some time ago. great game. later on i tried swat 4 again with expansion pack but those commands menu sucked Very Happy i still remember 2nd mission from swat 4 (the one with that chick in the basement - like in silence of the lambs). this is most atospheric mission i ever played in any game. i have dawn of war somewhere. dunno about expansion packs cause i havent played it a lot since my old rig had some problems Very Happy

i dunno what game is that Liquidator. never heard of it to be honest

and im playing for second time in dark messiah. after that game fights in Oblivion suck donkey balls Very Happy

RTS i played lately is supreme commander, c&c3, black and white 2, company of heroes (3rd time Very Happy )

AMD 64 3800+ ~2.7Ghz, 2GB Ram, GF 7800gs + bliss 512 RAM...

GRAW 2 was alright
Ooh, I reinstalled boiling point with the 2.0 patch, most of the bugs are gone; a nice mix of fps and rpg elements.

GRAW 2 pissed me off with those bugs. how could they make such lame game comparing to first part :/

yeah i wanted to check boiling point but i cant find it anywhere now :/ i played it once and i remember getting drunk Very Happy seems like fine game.

i took Obscure for a spin. nice survival horror. i missed that kind of games since my ps2 broke up Sad i also tried boiling point with 2.0 patch. very nice game indeed but physics suxx (if there is one Very Happy ) i also grabbed system shock2 cause i bever played it but i cant make it rn under xp. any ideas?

yeah im playing it from time to time. level up > quit > play again and levele up > quit... so i wont get bored too quickly Smile

shame to admit but i never played hidden and dangerous. hope ill find it somewhere. that remind me about game made by lucasarts... what was its name... ahhh armored and dangerous Very Happy very funny and very action packed Very Happy

FEAR multiplayer has been available free for AGES, old news...

A little off topic so I apologise beforehand but has anyone noticed this has become a trend recently?

People have been asking for recommendations on what to play...I think good PC games are getting way too few and far between and is that going to be the trend for the up and coming months?

I know one of you will come up with a list of upcoming games and maybe even change my mind abit which I welcome, but still; this looks kinda discouraging.

Just to add my game(s), I've been playing Dawn of War a lot recently and it is (as always) incredible.
Also been playing Football Manager 07 cuz I'm a footie fan and It's always there to salvage my more boredom-inflicted days...

And last but not least the ultimate bottom liner in my playing schedule is still EVE Online...flame away Laughing

quake 4 was so god damned boring. i found that my only drive to get through each level, was so that i could progress to the next one... NOT because i found the gameplay fun, or the game immersive, or the story great... yeah, it had great promise but fell pretty flat.

chronicles of riddick was pretty good - if he had an old rig, he probably missed that one?

as for titles i deleted i just copied them to notepad and i will look for them on the web, thx.

yesterday i installed settlers 2 10th anniversary edition and hmmm i was gone for like 6hours Very Happy great game Very Happy
