I'm considering it as it looks less cumbersome, plus my kids will be able to use it without me setting it up each time, and I assume it'll run nicely on a PS4 Pro
Can't answer but I had read many reviews before buying PSVR and every people that experienced both said that while the PSVR obviously usually have more aliasing, it has less screen door effects (as in you can see pixels on the screen, squares).
You can see them on PSVR though but they are minimal and you tend to forget about them during the action.
Thing is PSVR FOV is only 110° so it feels like you look in a scuba mask...
Difference between PS4 Pro and PS4 seems minor although I did see comparison in batman and VR worlds, they both support PS4 Pro and they are a bit nicer... it's still most likely not Vive 4K level but at least no screen door effect.
For the price, pretty much anyone who have both will tell you it's worth a buy...
It's responsive and easy to setup, it's actually I think one of the highlight of the PSVR, it's noobproof.
But I agree, I suggest you try it first in a shop or something. That's what I did, and that's what sold me. Reviews are not enough (although you can read my Star Wars VR review ).
