What happened to the sound there? It was good in the beginning and then it went terribly silent at once Neutral

And what are your specs? I see slowdowns and the graphics don't seem to warrant this at all Surprised

For the performance that's probably from back with the more extensive engine upgrade in Advanced Warfare so system requirements shot up a bit for a small boost in visual quality.
(Larger maps and such too but the PC version of the recent COD games wasn't exactly the most cared for port so this made things a bit worse.)

Ghosts saw the first of this (RAM usage for example shot way up.) but the bigger changes came with Advanced Warfare and after that Black Ops 3 and now Infinite Warfare plus Modern Warfare Remastered. Smile

Where did the sound go silent ?

My specs are :

i7-6700k
Asus Z170 PRO GAMING
16gb DDR4 3000MHZ
2x ASUS Strix 970 SLi
2x 256GB SSD (840 pro/ 850 evo)

Game recorded with shadowplay.

Quality is 24'000, 1080p@60fps

And the dips in quality is quite simply put ... the game Smile

It usually runs at 90-120 FPS with optimal settings, but they sometimes dip down to below 60.

I have no idea why, but there it is Smile

You'd think the quake engine would run flawlessly by now Smile

I can confirm that the dips are indeed part of the "experience". I've been encountering them too on my 970, which is constantly running at 99% usage and all the 4GB (ish Cool Face) are used most of the time.

It's quite silly, because they keep adding so many shaders and hollywoodian effects to such an old engine, that it's clearly clogging everything. It's like the gaming equivalent of Pimp my Ride xD
