What happened to the sound there? It was good in the beginning and then it went terribly silent at once
And what are your specs? I see slowdowns and the graphics don't seem to warrant this at all
For the performance that's probably from back with the more extensive engine upgrade in Advanced Warfare so system requirements shot up a bit for a small boost in visual quality.
(Larger maps and such too but the PC version of the recent COD games wasn't exactly the most cared for port so this made things a bit worse.)
Ghosts saw the first of this (RAM usage for example shot way up.) but the bigger changes came with Advanced Warfare and after that Black Ops 3 and now Infinite Warfare plus Modern Warfare Remastered.
I can confirm that the dips are indeed part of the "experience". I've been encountering them too on my 970, which is constantly running at 99% usage and all the 4GB (ish ) are used most of the time.
It's quite silly, because they keep adding so many shaders and hollywoodian effects to such an old engine, that it's clearly clogging everything. It's like the gaming equivalent of Pimp my Ride xD
