Hello friends! 
Serious question: PS4 Slim or PS4 Pro?
Setup:
I don't have a HDR capable big screen, 4K TV and I game on my regular PC gaming monitor.
I also don't really get the advantages of PS4 Pro.
Don't get me wrong, I totally get the advertized ones, like HDR and fake-ish 4K (checkerboard rendered 1080p with interpolation to 4K, better than upscaling, not really native 4K).
But there are many people and reviewers who say "you will still feel the advantages of higher framerates, better textures etc.", to which I ask: oh really, is that so?
Cause I haven't actually seen no real life comparison of the regular PS4 (Fat or Slim) vs the Pro on a non-HDR, non-4K scenario.
On the other hand, the Slim is availabro in Germany for 260-ish € and it's tiny and nice and power-saving and I kinda like that.
But then again I don't care about money and 100€ price difference is nothing.
I propably replace any 500Gb HDD that comes with both versions with my spare 840 EVO 500Gb, so I'll get some extra real life performance out of it anyways, making the performance difference even smaller between the two.
Any thought on this?
If you come accross any Fat/Slim vs Pro reviews specifically for non-4K / non-HDR users, then PLEASE SHARE IT HERE!
Up until now I have only found rather generic and uncritical reviews for the Pro, which I don't trust in.

HDR isnt a pro-feature. Its available for every PS4!
if you dont care about the 100bucks -> get the pro. there should be some nice discounts with second controller and a game most likely in the next 2-3 weeks. and 500gb is not much, and a ssd doesnt make that big difference inside the ps4. waste of money. get the 1tb pro version and you are ready (ships with fw 3.70 btw if you look forward to a maybe upcoming hack, but most pro features are not present, you need 4.0x for that)

its not a big deal, its 3-5sek loading time reduce (and since most games still have huge loading times from 25-50 sec) it doenst matter. its not worth wasting the money

There shall be PS4 Pro specific modes, like 1080p60fps (or 21060p@30fps), while fat/slim might just get 1080p30fps. If game has no Pro patch or unlimited framerate, there is no difference.
But only reason to get SLIM is to save money, so Pro it would be.

there is a difference, not much but there is but ofc its not worth to upgrade to the pro if you own an old modell (unless you want vr stuff, there the pro will be the best choice). in you case since you dont own a normal ps4 -> just get the pro, sony might implement some features in the future which only work on the pro. and yes there might be some framerate issues now with the ps4 pro patches, but they will fix that asap. for the future is better to get the pro

Pro. Because if I read correctly you will be able to select between 30fps 4k and 60fps fullhd for some games also more importantly, the ps4 pro seems to have the much faster sata connection, so that you will actually benefit from an ssd if you decide to put one in there because the old ps4 has such an old sata interface, that an ssd makes virtually no sense in loading times.

its not only about the old sata interface, its about everything related to it. but yes the ps4 pro has a new controller that supports sata3, that COULD (havent seen any reviews about it yet) reduce the huge ass loading times of bloodborne,gta and witcher for example. but i doubt it can do much in games whcih normally take about 30 secs to load

lol at buying slim over pro..you will eventually buy 4k TV or something, and the Pro is just better, the time will show. Hell I would still buy it even if I had just full HD TV.

thats just bullshit imho
look at their pics, its 140° retarded value. means 60°C. nothing close to anythign getting melted. the case can be damaged yes, but only if you put it very tighly into a shelf with no airflow around it (and there the system would do an emergency shutdown due to overheat before anything can "melt")

huh? you can get the bloodborne goty for 29,99, even amazon sells it for 36,99 and old hunters should be 19,99 on psn as dlc
you never played uncharted on your ps3? shame on you! but no reason to do it now, just jump into the collection. unless you want to experience the kinda shitty movement etc in the first game (which they have had fixed in the collection, they ported the stuff from 2 and 3 to 1 for the rerelease)
