There was a mod that came out I think a year or so ago that was supposed to be huge and added a lot of stuff to it but I can't seem to remember what it was :\

I was googling but brought me to modlink originally which none of them was what I was looking for so figured I'd post the question while looking just in case it was going to be a headache *shrug*

Did Introversion ever explain why they're so adamant about not doing a sequel? Uplink was the only good game they ever did, so it feels like a waste.

*shrug* I liked decon but damn it's a long battle lol.

Theres quite a few other "hacker" games which require more knowledge on consoles and shit but really im not sure making a sequal to a hacking game is a wise idea. Maybe a new one with an all new interface etc but theres not a lot you can do with such.

i'm guessing subversion will be something like that
i mean.. it's simulating an entire city where everything from elevator buttons to office computers are fully functional as one would expect
uplink with a physical world is the only thing i can imagine it being

Since no Uplink thread to be found in search, I'll just put this here (fitting since it's a mod, not official).






I just reinstalled this amazing game a few days ago, and NOW they give it a facelift.
