Continuous seismic activity then caused a large spire to rise out of the ocean through the island creating a tower-like structure that pierces the clouds. Characters:
Players enter the world with nothing but their underwear and must fight to survive in the post-apocalyptic world that awaits them. Enemies defeated may drop weapons and armor for players, which may be the difference between life and death…
Gameplay:
Players fight through a treacherous tower obtaining various types of weapons and armor while finding creatures and mushrooms to eat in order to stay alive. Upon death, a player’s “death data” is then circulated among other player’s games where they will appear as formidable opponents. The sharing of “death data” is one of the various asynchronous multiplayer elements that can be found in the game. More details to come at a later date.
You start Let It Die with nothing but your underwear and you must fight your way through the game collecting gear, weapons and mushrooms to help you stay alive.
Much like Dark Souls, you’ll die a lot in this game. However, unlike the punishing games created by From Software, Let It Die puts a spin on death. Every time you die, your “death data” gets uploaded to every other player and you become an enemy in their game.
I remember seeing the first teaser for this at E3. Didnt expect it to be F2P though. Its actually really awesome. Kinda like if Suda51 made a Dark Souls game. Its so wacky, you can tell its the same devs that made Shadow of the Damned!
