How about Cafe Flesh? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083707/

Quote:
In the aftermath of nuclear apocalypse, 99% of the survivors are Sex Negatives - they become violently ill if they attempt it. The minority Sex Positives engage in carnal theater for the entertainment of the Negatives at Cafe Flesh. Everyone is excited about the arrival at the club of the famous Positive Johnny Rico, and one Negative woman is beginning to question her negativeness as she and her boyfriend grow more distant from each other.

I have seen a movie on tv recently about a guy who wakes up one morning to find out that he seems to be the last living creature on earth (i think it plays in australia or new zealand). The guy finds two more people and together they find out that some secret military test wiped out all life on earth, except for them. They then try to reverse some stuff because the world would be destroyed in the long run, dont ask me for details Wink Anyhow, the movie was pretty good, especially the beginning, can't remember the name though :/

The Stand is good too, pretty long though, almost 6 hours!

The beginning is probably the best, but the story goes on to the survivors creating 2 camps, one military minded the other peaceful, obviously they clash.

The Omega Man, is another that you should check out.

I can't believe someone mentioned The Day After.

If you want a good film about nuclear war try Threads.

Threads. Although it will be totally hard to get hold of. However I do happen to have a copy here. On threads they have a nice build up towards the air attack. Then it shows the aftermath. The effects are nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere the film gives is quite nasty.
