hi, im looking for some good apocalyptic/nuclear holocaust movies, like fail-safe or dr. strangelove. i know about madmaxs, anything else in mind?
and please, spare me all 'armageddons' and such.
ps. anyone know what is title of the music played in dr.strangelove?some kind of march?

when i said 'armageddon' i meant the movie with bruce willis:) and other similar, lice 'core' etc.

28 days later? it was set in England anyway. film was hgreat up to about 1 hour then after the army got involved it sorta went down the shitter

The Stand is good too, pretty long though, almost 6 hours!
The beginning is probably the best, but the story goes on to the survivors creating 2 camps, one military minded the other peaceful, obviously they clash.
The Omega Man, is another that you should check out.

Threads. Although it will be totally hard to get hold of. However I do happen to have a copy here. On threads they have a nice build up towards the air attack. Then it shows the aftermath. The effects are nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere the film gives is quite nasty.
