hy,

i wanted to try a ps1 (powershell) script and it gives me an error.

i have windows 7 64bit, all up to date, NET framework is also up to date with version 4.6.1.

so, if i wanna edit or start this ps1 script, the console windows pops up and is gone again, cant really read teh text from the error but i think it says:

NET 3.5.1 is required ERROR.

when i wanna edit it it says:

so, do i have to revert back to 3.5.1 to use powershell? shouldnt it be include din 4.6.1????

i have 4.6.1 installed:

and windows was setting the services like this after the update:

If anyone has a little experience with powershell and windows 7 who could help me, that would be awesome...

thanks,, greetz

For future reference: you might want to install more .Net Framework versions, as they are required by software/game x/yz. Same goes for the bloody Visual C++ redistributables...

Yeah...Microsoft...Can't be bothered for an all-in-one installer.

Yeah.
.NET is a bit messy (yet a very rich API for system and application development).
